Lookout Mountain Incline Railway

Lookout Mountain Tennessee is the gorgeous home of three Chattanooga attractions: Rock City, Ruby Falls, and the exciting Incline Railway, the steepest passenger train in the world, known as "America's most amazing mile!" Take a ride to the top of the mountain for the finest view of the Chattanooga Valley. While you're up there, be sure to try the homemade fudge, explore the site of the Civil War "Battle Above The Clouds," and stop by the Visitor Center for a map of Point Park's hiking trails. With easy access to I-75, our hotel near Lookout Mountain is the perfect base for your family adventure.

Q. What is there to do at the top of the incline?

A. The Lookout Mountain Station offers spectacular vistas, a snack bar, dining area and gift shop. You can also visit nearby points of Civil War interest, as well as the Centennial Photo Exhibit and the Railway's engine room.

A. All-in-one ticket packages are available and include admission to all three Lookout Mountain attractions, including The Incline, Rock City, and Ruby Falls.
