Rock City Gardens

Rock City Gardens is a 4,100-foot trail, featuring gardens of more than 400 species of plants, 200 million year-old rock formations, a panoramic view of 7 states, 100-foot waterfall, and 1,000-ton balanced rock.

Is Rock City ADA Accessible?

Rock City is partially ADA accessible, with a 1/2-mile trail that offers views of Lover's Leap and the Flag Court. More improvements for increased access are currently underway.

What is the story behind Lover’s Leap?

The legend has it that an American Indian man was thrown from the giant outcropping now known as "Lover's Leap" when his love for a woman in a rival tribe was discovered.
